Intsika Yethu Horse Racers formed a structure called Intsika Yethu Horse Racing Association to organise themselves and to grow their annual Horse Racing event. It is formed by different people from different villages coming from Tsomo and Cofimvaba Horse Racing Clubs.

The Traditional Horse Racing event is hosted annually where horse racers compete according to categories. To encourage the involvement and participation of the community. To promote Sport Tourism and ensuring that culture in tourism is promoted. The event is hosted during Heritage and Tourism month (September), funded by Intsika Yethu Municipality. Other races are hosted throughout the year by the sport grounds clubs.
